In XVIII and XIX centuries, the tile was mainly used for the interior of historic buildings and facades.

The tiles range from historical episodes reports, mythological scenes and an extensive range of decorative elements applied to wall, floors and ceilings of palaces, gardens, religious buildings, housing and public.

In the twentieth century, the tile entered the Urban Art and began to be used in airports, metro/rail stations and road overpasses. Today, it has gained international prominence serving as inspiration to many tailors and designers!
